I can never remember a time when I was not drawing or painting. I am an artist first and always.
Over the past 40 years I have painted with the knowledge and fear that nature needs to be protected and celebrated.
My paintings becomes a spiritual process as I push the boundary of texture, colour and form. My goal is to engage the viewer, make them pause and consider the beauty, struggle and fragility of the image. If this occurs my painting is a success.
